My Mom is a Slacker..

November 7, 2013

Hi everyone!

It's me, Morgan!

You guys know I love my Mom the best, right? And by slacker, I mean she takes care of me in every way possible. However, a gal has to be able to communicate with her peeps, so we had a talk about getting back on top of this blog.

I have a LOT to report. The last two months have been so much fun!

Me, Mom, and Dad helped our friends Jill and Steve move into their new house in Conshohocken. Mom showed me her old stomping grounds and talked all day about how much fun she and Aunt Katie had in Club Conshy (whatever that is). Meanwhile, I was actually working. The stuff in their house was NOT going to move itself.

I pretty much ran the show.

Speaking of old stomping grounds, Mom and Dad took me to the Bloomsburg Fair for the very first time!

Mom and I got our BU gear on for the long road trip.

First, we stopped by campus. Mom said one of the reasons she chose Bloomsburg for college was because of the beautiful scenery.

Then, we headed to the fair. Man, was it crowded!

We got to see all sorts of animals, which I really enjoyed.

I tried waffles and ice cream - YUM!

I went on some rides with Mommy.

And we got to hang out with Aunt Jenny B., Uncle Boyfriend Bill, and Jo Jo!

I can't wait to go again next year!

Oh, and for the record, those Pizza Stix my Mom never stopped talking about, and made us stop for? They were delicious! I totally get it.

In September, I also got to see my cousin Liza play field hockey! It looks like a cool sport - maybe I'll play someday!

It was a really fun day hanging out with Jazzy and Liza, Nana and Pop Pop, Aunt Laurie, and Grandma and Grandpa.

Did I tell you Aunt Colleen is getting married? The wedding is in February. My Mom and Aunt Katie are bridesmaids. I won't get to go to the wedding, but that didn't stop me from fulfilling my own "honorary" bridesmaid duties (I totally gave myself that title - cool, right?).

Aunt Katie and Mom wanted to make special cookies for Aunt Colleen's shower. I came up with some great ideas.

I took Aunt Katie to Michael's to pick up some necessities,

and then we got to work.

I'm not going to lie, those cookies were fantastic!

The month of October was just jam packed with fall activities.

First, we went to visit Aunt Kate, Goddad, Ava, and Nico for some good, old fashioned apple cider pressing! It was really neat!

The fresh cider was delicious!

This is Uncle Chuck's home made press.

I enjoyed some fresh cider doughnuts too!

We went pumpkin picking with Aunt Randi, Uncle Bobby, Corinne and Jack again this year!

It took me a few minutes to catch on, but one I did, I was a pumpkin picking maniac!

A few weeks later, we decorated all my pumpkins (6 total)!

I'll be honest, I was more interested in painting my feet.

I was not at all interested in taking part in pumpkin carving - GROSS!

We had a good time!

And here's the finished product!

Arts and crafts are one of my favorite things to do!

I do finger painting,

and my Mom took me to paint pottery!

I like to help my Mom cook and bake.

And I love to sing and dance!

Especially with my boooyyyyfriend, Brendan.

We're really happy together. And our parents like each other too. So, we're pretty much set!

I do love to read!

Mom says I'm a good eater!

I really love mac and cheese, and pretty much every fruit, and chicken nuggets, and Teddy Grahams, and hard pretzels...

And I love me some applesauce. Grandma Evie made me some special. It's so good, I eat it right out of the container!

And doughnuts. Saturday mornings is my special time with Daddy. We get up together and play, then go get breakfast.

Oh, I tried Mom Mom's meatballs! I can't believe I wasn't eating them before. My Mom has given me some other kinds, but she was really holding out on me, guys. There's no Italian, like Mom Mom's Italian!

HA! Mom's right! I am a good eater!

I work off all those calories by playing at the park out back a lot! As I get bigger, I can climb more independently.

We walk Samson there together every night.

I took Aunt Susan and Thomas.

And Uncle Tim too!

I just love to explore and play outside.

But, sometimes, we actually do just relax.

Oh, did you think I forgot about Halloween? Ohhhh, no. I did not. I was simply saving the best. for. last.

I thought I would pick out my own costume this year,

but Mommy said that might scare my friends at daycare.

So, we thought, and thought, and thought...

And, well, this is all you need to see:

Love you guys!

XOXO,
Morgan
